Mrs Buhari, Wife of former head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari has described Wednesday's twin explosion in Kaduna - one of which was targeted at the Maj. Gen. - has traumatic.
Although the Maj. Gen. escaped, two of his bodyguards and an aide were among the wounded.
His Toyota Prado jeep was also hit by a suspected bomber near the 1 Mechanised Division of the Nigerian Army in the Kawo area of Kaduna.
Reacting to the incident, the General's wife said "I never believed that one can kill himself to kill another person in Nigeria, I have heard of suicide bombers in Nigeria, but I never believed until the attack on my husband yesterday. It is scary, The experience was traumatizing"
There's been quite a number of suicide bombings in Nigeria for a while now - where hundreds of lives have been lost - but Mrs Buhari didn't believe it was happening until it hit home....oh well!
