Former Governor of Bayelsa state, Timipre Sylva has won the rescheduled Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Election primary held in Yenagoa, the state capital today September 30th.
The first party governorship primaries on September 22nd was marred by thugery and violence forcing the leadership of the party to cancel it. A rescheduled primary held today in which Sylva won. He polled a total of 981 votes out of 1147 accredited delegates.
