While Parents and students of the Lagos state university are rejoicing over the reversed school fees - declared by the the Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola yesterday - the Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obaniko has chosen to play the devil's advocate.
The PDP candidate at the 2007 Lagos state governorship election is not pleased with the reversed fees, thus, he took to twitter to blast Gov. Fashola some moments ago.
The Lagos State Government had in 2011 increased the fees from N25,000 to N198,000 for humanities & education, while medical students were to pay N350,000.
According to him, the move is just a pre- political gimmick ahead of the 2015 election.
The minister also says Fashola should not only apologise to the students who he has deprived education in the last 3 years, but also ask God for forgiveness.
